Hola.. aunque ya ha pasado el día del libro.. te he buscado otra receta porque eso que te dicen de freirlas no creo que es correcto. Yo va un día en canal cocina que las hacían al horno. Se hacen tipo tejas y cuando están calientes se sacan del horno con mucho cuidado y se pone en medio el papel, se pliegan y se dejan secar.
No sí si sabes inglés (te traduzco)
100g plain flour. - 100 gr harina
1/4 teaspoon of salt. - 1/4 cucharadita sal
2 tablespoons of cornflour. - 2 cucharadas maizena
6 tablespoons of sugar. - 6 cucharadas grandes azucar
7 tablespoons of olive oil. - 7 cucharadas aceite oliva
2 egg whites. - 2 claras huevo
3 tablespoons of water. - 3 cucharadas agua
6 Fortune Cookie messages. - 6 mensajes, pueden ser tambien pequeños regalos
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Calentar el horno a 170 o 180º
Mezclar harina, sal, maizena y azucar, añadir aceite, claras mezclar bien. Añadir agua y seguir mezclando
Stir together the flour, salt, cornflour and sugar. Then add the olive oil and egg whites and mix together until smooth. Pour in the water and continue to mix.
En la bandeja engrasada poner una cucharada de de mezcla
extender para que quede fino
On a greased cookie sheet, pour 1 tablespoon of batter for each cookie, using the back of the tablespoon, spread out the batter until it is very thin which will be about 3 inches in diameter.
The ingredients should be sufficient for about 6 cookies. Da para hacer 6 galletas
Bake for about 5 minutes or until the edges are lightly brown. Cocinar c**o 5 minutos hasta que empiecen a ponerse marron claro los bordes
Quickly place your fortune messages in the centre of each cookie and fold the cookie in half enclosing your message, to form a semi-circle. Rapidamente sacar las galletas una a una poniendo el mensaje y cerrando los extremos con cuidado formando un semi circulo
Hold the rounded edges of semi-circle between thumb and forefinger. Place forefinger of other hand at centre of folded edge and push in, making sure that the solid sides of the cookie puff out.
Place each cookie in a small size baking tin open edges up, until cookie is set. Store in an airtight container. Dejar secar con cuidado, te he traducido lo más importante.
