What are they made of?
The babies are hand sculpted by Camille Allen in clay. Most she sculpts in Polymer Clay, which is cured to a hard, porcelain-like finish.
Camille uses tiny tools to form a baby from a lump of clay, and uses paints to add realism. The hair is fine strand english mohair.
It takes many, many hours of careful sculpting to create a baby along with all the fine details that make the baby realistic.
A resin limited edition of babies is made by a mold being made of the original sculpture. The mold is then filled with colored resin, then pulled from the mold, finished and painted - resulting in multiple babies that all look like the original baby sculpture.
Os pongo el enlace donde lo encontré... Y son preciosos!!auro44 escribió:Son de procelana no??....o eso me parece que dicehonorina escribió:Aquí dicen de que están hechos y desde luego que no son de mazap?n.
